We praise the Lord for a successful 2nd year, and we continue to prayerfully seek the Lord's direction as we consider future growth and change for 'Modest Handmaidens' in 2008. Our desire is to know His will for our family business/ministry so that we would continue to best meet the needs of our customers and take Modest Handmaidens in the direction of His leading. Modest Handmaidens has now evolved primarily into a store that carries a wide variety of modest sewing patterns, wonderful character building material & womens' studies, sewing curriculum & sewing kits, as well as a variety of handwork, aromatherapy products and natural alternative home and feminine care products.
Modest Handmaidens no longer offers custom made apparel, however, we do have our Ready Made Closet that will carry a selection of ready made modest apparel. It will be stocked as time permits. Headcoverings continue to be available in the Ready Made Closet.
Modesty, Virtue, Purity and the need to teach young girls to be keepers of the home, continues to be impressed upon our hearts, so we are excited to offer an increasing selection of modest sewing patterns, beginner sewing kits, and quality books for women/young maidens/homeschoolers.

We now offer a limited selection of ready made, quality, handsewn modest garments & headcoverings that will reflect a "meek and quiet spirit which is in the sight of God a great price" (1 Peter 3:3,4). All garments are professionally sewn and seams are finished with an overlock serger.

~ Equine Rhythm Beads ~
Rhythm Beads allow your horse to follow a rhythm or cadence much like a musician plays music to a metronome through timed beats. Also, the soft jingle of the genuine brass bells accentuates the rhythm of horses' gaits, which is useful for adjusting the tempo/rhythm of a horse's movement, and for helping the rider to move in rhythm with the horse.
