Greetings and Welcome to ~
Modest Handmaidens Mercantile
~ NEW direction for Modest Handmaidens in 2012 ~
The Lord has been ever so faithful and blessed our family ministry 'Modest Handmaidens' through another year, however, after much prayerful consideration, we will be looking for new owners for our webstore .
PTL...the Lord has provided a buyer. The transfer date is still not determined. Once the new owners take over and inventory is restocked, prices will return to their full retail price, so I encourage you to take advantage of these discounted prices while supplies last.
So, keep shopping....there are still many patterns at great low prices to select from!
We will dearly miss our faithful customers, and thank each one of you for your continuing support of our family business/ministry from 2005 through 2012.
Below is a brief note of introduction from Eve....the future owner of Modest Handmaidens
~I am excited to be the future, new owner of
Modest Handmaidens! My name is Eve
Mercer, and I live in North Dakota with my husband, Michael, and six children
(Anderson-8, Holden-7, KaraJean-6, Katherine-4, Charlotte-2, Clare-9
months). I am a homeschooling,
stay-at-home mom of these beautiful blessings, and Michael does carpentry in
the local area.
Promoting modesty will always be the main
mission of Modest Handmaidens, and I see this as a ministry that I am proud to
continue. I believe that, when given a
chance, young women can see the value of modest clothing and behavior as a
cornerstone upon which to build decent, godly families.
Deborah,
I am honored to be accepting the torch that you are passing of Modest
Handmaidens. You have done so many women
and families a wonderful service by providing this website with resources that
encourage modesty and, in turn, build families up in a way that is pleasing to
God. God Bless, you! ~
Eve Mercer

Titus 2:3-5
3The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; 4That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, 5To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient
to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed
